Baptism Preparation Program

Special Note on Sacramental Preparation for First Communion and Confirmation:

The Cleveland Diocese requires that children have 2 years preparation to receive
First Communion and Confirmation. Therefore, children must attend 1st and 2nd grade PSR to
make First Communion in the second grade, and children must attend 7th and 8th grade PSR
to make Confirmation in the eighth grade.

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

RCIA is a process whereby those whoa re unbaptized are seeking to know about the Catholic Faith and may desire to become Catholic, and for those baptized in other Christian denominations seeking to join the Catholic Church. It is also for people baptized in the Catholic Faith but who have not received the other Sacraments of Initiation. Catholics interested in sharing their faith in this ministry are invited to join the RCIA Team.

Sessions meet Wednesday evenings at 7pm during the year. Please contact Sr. Ann Marie Kanusek 440-247-1141

Sacrament of Marriage

Please call the parish office at least 1 year months before the anticipated date to begin preparation at 440-247-7183. You may also wish to review information located on the bottom of the SJA Music Ministry Webpage to prepare for a meeting with the Presider and Director of Music.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available each Saturday afternoon from 3:15-4:00pm. You may also call our priests to set up an appointment. Celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation is a very healing and grace-filled time. For a child's 1st Reconciliation, see above.

Anointing/Visitation of the Sick

Please call the Parish Office,440-247-7183, to let us know that a parishioner is ill, hospitalized, or unable to attend Mass. We are more than happy to visit, bring the Eucharist, and anoint them when requested.
