Wow the summer months flew by and here we are full swing into the fall and the school year!
Here are a few things coming up this fall with a look back on our summer events.
Our Ministry Fair is coming up the weekend of the 23 and 24th of September after each of our weekend
masses. 4:30 Saturday, 9 and 11 Sunday. It is a wonderful opportunity to see what we do and who
we serve in the community and how you can get involved and share your gifts and talents!
Don't miss the Chagrin Falls Documentary Film Fest October 5th for our Salad Lunch and viewing 10 am to 1pm.
This Fall we also look forward to Trapper Jack's presentation
The Eucharist, a Hard truth to Swallow sponsored by the Women's guild. I was privileged
to see this event earlier last year and it is not to be missed!!
Look for another Healing Service from Peter's Shadow Ministry late October, early November.
We are also starting our brown bag lunch series featuring Matt Valencic and the connection
of the spiritual through nature, specifically birds.
We had wonderful activities this summer. Our Rummage sale was our biggest and best ever! We also partnered with Zelie's house and all of the mom's were sponsored for a shopping excursion and treated to dinner after right here in the falls. The collaboration in the parish ministries is a thing of beauty! We can certainly see the Holy Spirit on the move right here in our community.
Our field trip to Lourdes Shrine in Euclid was a tremendous success and an absolutely beautiful day. There were just about equal numbers of parishioners from Holy Angels and Father Max celebrated mass for us. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Alfredos in Mayfield Hts. on the way back. Look for another outing next summer, we will definitely repeat this one!
We also brought back the Parish Picnic with a Festival focus September 10, 2023 after a covid hiatus. Fun was had by all who attended! Many thanks to the team and volunteers that put it all together and worked tirelessly for its success!
Melinda Redding shared the amazing story about her father, CWO Michael Jacob Schick of the U.S. Marine core Patriots day September 11. What an incredible story of integrity and bravery inspiring to all who attended.
