St. Patrick's Hunger Center

Volunteers from the parish travel to St. Patrick's Hunger Center in Cleveland about 4 times a year to prepare and serve a meal.  Bakers are also needed to provide home-baked goodies to serve along with the meal. These can be dropped off at the Parish Hall prior to the trip to St. Patrick's. Please check the Parish Bulletin for dates. CONTACT: Connie Eddy to volunteer.

Up Coming
We will cook and serve a meal at St. Pat's Hunger Center as scheduled on Tuesday, December 22.  Due to CoVid, the meals are carry out only.
St. Pat’s has been getting roughly half of the people than usual, around 75, coming for the meals.   We are limiting the number of volunteers to cook and pack.  Please let Connie Eddy know if you intend to volunteer.

As the demand is smaller, we ask only for HOMEMADE cookie donations.  A few bakers making a couple batches can handle it.  Please contact Connie Eddy to make delivery arrangements as we still cannot deliver to SJA.

Seasonal Giving Opportunities

Back to School Supplies: at the beginning of each school year the parish collects school supplies for needy children in Northeast Ohio.

Blanket Sunday: each fall the parish collects new and gently used blankets and sheets for families in need in the Cleveland area.

Cold Weather is approaching, SO Jane and Jack Zilly will be collecting BLANKETS (in their original packaging), along with the food collection in their driveway on from 10-11am at the bottom of their driveway (5231 Maple Springs Drive) with the back door of their SUV opened to accept donations.
