Baptism
Congratulations and Welcome!
The Sacrament of Baptism
Baptism, the first of the Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic faith, is typically done on infants and small children. In being Baptized, your child becomes a member of the Church and part of the Body of Christ.
Baptism at St. Joan of Arc
Deacon Denny Guritza and his wife, Diana, guide new parents seeking to baptize their children through preparation classes and the Sacrament of Baptism. Baptisms are usually performed after the 11am Mass on Sundays. Contact Deacon Denny for more information on Baptism preparation and to schedule a Baptism. Adults seeking baptism for themselves should refer to the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA).
