Arc Angels for Life

Life and Dignity for All

Arc Angels for Life

We have a vibrant Respect Life Committee that participates in Pro-Life events and keeps parishioners aware of local and national issues. We believe in the sanctity of life from conception to the natural end of life. To find out when we meet next, check the parish bulletin or contact the coordinators.

Join us in Prayer

October is Respect Life Month. As Catholics we believe that every life is sacred, from the moment of conception until natural death. Every person is made in the image of God; each and every person has inherent dignity.

We will unite our prayers with Christians around the world who are praying throughout October for the many pro-life issues we are faced with today.

We invite all parishioners to join us for prayer in the Garden of Life each of the Monday mornings in October each year.

Bioethics

Dr. Andrew Trew, a parishioner of St. Joan and a Professor of Bioethics at St. Mary Seminary and John Carroll, presented a three part series on bioethics and living our Catholic faith in today's world during the month of October 2008. The talks were very well attended (approximately 80 people) and we are very grateful to Dr. Trew and all the volunteers who made this opportunity possible!

Copies of Dr. Trew's slide presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint), can be downloaded:
